Salome Beyer Velez is a Senior Reporter at Latin America Reports. Born in Medellín, Colombia, Salome studies history and politics at the University of Edinburgh. She's a columnist at Colombian outlet No Apto, and was a former Project Assistant for the Global Forum for Media Development, as well as the President of the University of Edinburgh Latin American Society. Her work has appeared in Al Jazeera, The Latin Times (from the International Business Times), El Nacional, Entrepreneur Magazine, Vogue México, and others.
